Cecilia Going Home is from her album The Healing Voice. Cecilia’s extraordinary voice resonates with such purity, that it is reputed to soothe the soul and heals heartache and stress. Through the years she has developed and perfected her distinctive style of music, and her vibrant sound touches the heart in a way few artists have been able to do.
Art Labriola has produced Cecilia’s songs in a modern classical crossover style, where she reaches out to a much larger audience with an unusual and breathtaking mix of original compositions. A deep-toned choir of monks and sound textures provide an atmospheric contrast to Cecilia’s angelic voice, creating a magical and ethereal atmosphere. Most of the songs are performed in Latin, taking the listener into a world of feeling and to another dimension.
Cecilia worked with metaphysician Stuart Wilde for a number of years on songs that both she and he wrote. Some were written together, some separately, but all with the goal in mind to open up the heart. There are many mystical messages in the songs of Cecilia.
