Metamorphosis Ayahuasca Documentary

Ayahuasca has been used by Shamans and those whom they help for hundreds if not thousands of years. It can be found all over the Amazon and in other places in the world. Ayahuasca and its incredible ability to heal has been slowly but steadily creeping into western consciousness. Metamorphosis Ayahuasca documentary follows several westerners as they undergo five Ayahuasca ceremonies. We watch them experience the gamut of emotions – from utter fear to outright ecstasy. We see interviews with the shamans who work with the medicine. Plus we’re shown all the key elements of an Ayahuasca ceremony.

The film also tells the story of Hamilton Souther, who earlier in life had no belief of and in spirit. After having a spiritual awakening, Hamilton is led to the Amazon where he apprentices as an Ayahuascero. An Ayahuascero is a man or woman who practices medicine with Ayahuasca. Here we meet Maestro Don Alberto, an indigenous master shaman for over thirty years who practices with Hamilton. They both take us through the ceremonies as well as explain the meaning behind them.

Ayahuasca Journey Experiences

This is one of the best Ayahuasca documentaries that you can find. It runs for over an hour and a half long. It vividly shows the different experiences, emotions and transformations that Ayahuasca users have. You will see some people weeping and the others laughing and shouting. In one scene, someone appears to be possessed. Some Ayahuasca users said that they saw visions of their life from when they were young. Others felt paralysed. The experience is terrifying, dark and demonic for a few.

However, mostly the experience was incredibly fulfilling. Ayahuasca users felt that they had meet God and had found divine love. At the end of the Ayahuasca ceremony, the users attested that life had become a little more beautiful and that the experience was amazing. You can witness their experience by watching the video above.
