Who was Aaron Russo?
Aaron Russo was born February 14, 1943 and died August 24, 2007. He was an American entertainment businessman, film producer and director, and political activist. He is known for having produced the following movies: Trading Places, Wise Guys, and The Rose. Later in life, he created various Libertarian-leaning political documentaries including Mad as Hell and America: Freedom to Facism. The story goes that after a six-year battle with bladder cancer, Russo died on August 24, 2007. It is true – he did die on that date. However, there are many who believe that this version of events is a cover-up. Russo was creating films that were enlightening the public to the truth of what really goes on. It is not unreasonable to assume that he was murdered for doing so.
