Cecilia I Believe

Music and Lyrics: Jimmy Shirl, Ervin Drake, Irvin Graham, Al Stillman

I believe for every drop of rain that falls
A flower grows
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night
A candle glows
I believe for everyone who goes astray,
someone will come to show the way
I believe, Oh I believe

I believe above the storm the smallest prayer
Will still be heard
I believe that someone in that great somewhere
Hears every word

Every time I hear a newborn baby cry,
Or touch a leaf or see the sky
Then I know why I believe

Every time I hear a newborn baby cry,
Or touch a leaf or see the sky
Then I know why I believe

I Believe

I Believe

Cecilia sings I Believe from the Album Amazing Grace. This is Cecilia’s latest CD where her astonishingly beautiful voice sings some of her favourite songs. This album’s songs have sparse instrumentation so that you can more enjoy Cecilia’s crystal clear voice.

Her voice has been likened to that of a Nightingale. Truly it is a beautiful soprano voice. Her voice is so lovely that her albums have sold worldwide without very much promotion. It appears to be word-of-mouth that pushes the sales of her albums along.

Heart touching renditions of Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel” and St Francis of Assisi’s prayer. This album also includes her famous rendition of “Amazing Grace”.

Cecilia wrote the English lyrics to Schubert’s beautiful song “Ave Maria” herself.

By the way, the words in this song that say that when we go astray, someone will come to show the way, are in fact the truth of what goes on. People are placed in our lives to help and assist us. There are guardian beings who move the chess-pieces of life to make sure that we are loved and looked after. This indeed does occur.
